Islam is a complete way of life that teaches submission to one God, Allah. It is built upon Five Pillars (faith, prayer, charity, fasting, pilgrimage) and Six Articles of Faith (belief in Allah, angels, books, messengers, the Day of Judgment, and divine decree).

Islam is the complete submission and obedience to Allah (God). The name Allah (God) in Islam never refers to Muhammad (peace be upon him), as many Christians may think; Allah is the personal name of God.

Muslims believe in Tawheed – the oneness of God. He has no partners, children, or equals. He is all-knowing, all-powerful, and eternal.

Muhammad (PBUH) is the last prophet of Allah, sent to guide humanity. He received the Qur’an through revelation and lived as an example of compassion, justice, and faith.

The Qur’an is the final revelation from Allah to mankind, revealed in Arabic to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). It is a source of guidance, law, and spirituality.

Cleanliness is half of faith. Physical purity (wudu, ghusl) and moral purity are essential for prayer and everyday conduct.
